In 1989, I volunteered to teach Sunday school and Children’s Church out of a desire to keep my own children in church.  At that time, I had no idea that God would grow my desire to work in children's ministry.  Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with children of all age groups from nursery through high school. 

 

Over the past 3 years I have been blessed to work with NBCF Kids 4 Christ. It blesses me beyond measure to see how the Lord works in the lives of His children.

 

 “I love the look on a child's face when they are totally engaged in a Bible story they may be hearing for the 1st time. I pray that the child will go home and share the Gospel with their parents.”   

The verse in the Bible Isaiah 11:6 that says "…A child will lead them." has special meaning for me.             

 

My hope and prayer is to teach a child about the Lord, and then that child goes home and teaches their parents about the Lord.
